Project Overview

The affordable housing project in Bhosari Peth involves the construction of 47 buildings, each comprising 14 floors with dedicated parking facilities. The total number of houses to be built is 6,452, catering to different segments of the population based on their economic requirements. The project is divided into two categories: Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) and Small Income Groups (SIG).

Economically Weaker Sections (EWS)

For the Economically Weaker Sections, the housing options include:

  • 1 BHK apartments with a size of 29.55 sq. m: A total of 3,320 houses in this category.
  • 1 RK apartments with a size of 25.70 sq. m: A total of 332 houses in this category.

Small Income Groups (SIG)

For the Small Income Groups, the housing options include:

  • 2 BHK apartments with a size of 59.27 sq. m: A total of 1,456 houses in this category.
  • 2 BHK apartments with a size of 48.89 sq. m: A total of 1,344 houses in this category.

Focus on Citizen Welfare

Rahul Mahiwal, the Commissioner of PMRDA, expressed the authority’s commitment to meeting the housing needs of Pune’s citizens. The project’s objective is to create comfortable and affordable homes, ensuring a better standard of living for the residents. The completion of Phase 1 of Bhosari Peth No. 12 was a significant milestone, providing 4,833 houses to deserving individuals and families.

Now, the PMRDA is actively working on the second phase of the project, aiming to construct an additional 6,452 houses. This phase will accommodate the growing demand for affordable housing in Pune. By prioritizing citizen welfare, the PMRDA is contributing to the overall development and prosperity of the region.
