The Pune Metro, a rapid transit system, is currently under construction and is expected to be operational by 2021. The city’s airport, the Pune International Airport, has also undergone a major expansion, with a new terminal building and runway being added. “We are committed to providing world-class infrastructure to the people of Pune,” Municipal Commissioner, Vikram Kumar.
