The Central Railway has recently launched a new weekly train service to strengthen the connectivity between Pune and Bikaner, benefiting passengers traveling between Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Rajasthan. This initiative aims to enhance convenience and provide a reliable mode of transportation for individuals commuting along this route. The new train service will commence its inaugural run from Pune at 8:10 am on May 30, reaching Bikaner at 8:45 pm the following day.
Expanding Connectivity and Facilitating Travel
The introduction of this new train service marks a significant milestone in improving the overall connectivity and travel options for passengers in the western region of India. With the train operating once a week, it will cater to the increasing demand for transportation between Pune and Bikaner. This move is expected to not only benefit the local residents but also facilitate the movement of tourists, traders, and professionals traveling across these vibrant states.
Scheduled Departure and Arrival Timings
The weekly special train, designated as train no. 20476, will depart from Pune every Tuesday at 8:10 pm, effective from June 6. It will follow a well-optimized route, covering various important cities and towns along the way, before reaching its final destination of Bikaner at 8:45 pm the next day. Similarly, train no. 20475, the return service, will leave Bikaner every Monday at 7:10 am, commencing from June 5, and arrive in Pune at 7:35 am the following day. These timings have been carefully planned to ensure maximum convenience for passengers.
Strategic Halts and Key Stations
During its journey, the train will make a total of 24 intermediate halts, allowing passengers to embark and disembark at various stations conveniently. The list of scheduled stops includes popular destinations like Lonavala, Kalyan, Bhiwandi Road, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Jawai Bandh, Falna, Rani, Marwar Jn, Pali, Luni, Jodhpur, Goran, Merta Road, Nagaur, and Nokha. These well-planned halts ensure that travelers from diverse locations can easily access the train service and experience hassle-free journeys.
Coaches and Reservation Details
The train will consist of a total of 20 coaches, providing passengers with a range of accommodation options to suit their preferences and budget. These coaches include two AC 2-tier, five AC 3-tier, seven sleeper class, and four general second-class coaches. The diverse range of coaches ensures that passengers can choose according to their comfort requirements, making their travel experience pleasant and enjoyable.
