Pune Municipal Corporation Enhances Heritage Walk Experience with Headphones

The Pune Municipal Corporation's initiative to provide headphones for the participants of the heritage walk demonstrates their commitment to offering an enhanced and immersive experience.

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is all set to elevate the experience of participants in the upcoming heritage walk scheduled for June 11, 2023. In a thoughtful move, the PMC has made arrangements for 30 headphones to be provided to the visitors during the walk, allowing them to immerse themselves in the rich history and cultural significance of the city’s iconic landmarks. This initiative aims to provide an informative and engaging journey for the participants while navigating the vibrant streets of Pune.

Enhancing Communication in a Bustling City

Sunil Mohite, the Executive Engineer of the Heritage Department at PMC, highlighted the importance of incorporating headphones into the heritage walk. He emphasized that the heritage walk takes visitors through bustling streets that are often crowded with traffic, making it challenging to deliver clear and uninterrupted communication. To overcome this obstacle, the PMC has arranged for 30 headphones to be available during the walk. By utilizing the headphones, visitors can fully immerse themselves in the experience and catch every piece of valuable information shared by the knowledgeable guides.

The heritage walk organized by the PMC has gained immense popularity among both Punekars and visitors from outside the city. This is evident from the overwhelming number of registrations received so far. The walk offers an exciting opportunity to explore and appreciate the historical significance of 11 prominent structures located between Shaniwarwada and Vishrambagwada.
