Acting upon a complaint filed by two young men who fell victim to this cunning scheme, the police launched a thorough investigation that led to the arrest of five culprits. The gang, consisting of Jayshree Kalu Ghotale, Meera Bansi Visalkar, Balu Bhikaji Kale, Shivaji Shankar Kurkute, and Balu Gulab Sarde, operated by preying on vulnerable individuals who were struggling to find suitable life partners. The members of the gang meticulously deceived and manipulated their victims, ultimately orchestrating fake marriages with the sole intention of extorting money.
